Made from vintage sari cloths in India and Bangladesh, Kantha quilts are distinguished by their bright colors and patchwork patterns, sewn together with a running stitch, and in the case of more elaborate quilts, embroidered. Because two cloths sewn together with a quilting stitch, each side of the Kantha is different, making some of them reversible. We love to layer these on tables for a lavish dinner or on beds or couches as a throw. The patchwork on some of our kanthas adds extra personality and charm. 

In instances where the back of the kantha is as interesting as the front, we have offered photographs of each side.

For in-stock items, please allow 2 days for processing of your order. For furniture and custom-made orders, please allow 2-4 weeks for processing. Once available, your item will ship via FedEx Ground or 2-day Express, depending on the customer’s choice at check-out. At check out, rates for both options will be displayed and customer may choose. Chosen shipping costs will be applied to customer total at checkout.
For larger items requiring freight shipping, we will contact you with white glove or alternative options to ensure the best rate.
