This high-polished bronze oyster knife will bring a new level of chic to your next low-country oyster roast. Sculpted in wax by artist New Orleans artist Ashley Pridmore and cast in high-polished bronze as an homage to the beloved bivalve, the handle of our original knife takes its shape from the oyster but is crafted to fit comfortably in the hand of the shucker. I have my friend David to thank for coming up with this idea. His family has been hosting "Oyster Easter" for a few generations - a raw oyster prelude to Easter luncheon for which delicious varieties are flown South from the New England coast and served with cold champagne and eaten while the kids hunt Easter eggs.
