There is a whole town devoted to the production of \u003cem\u003eceramiche;  Grottaglie \u003c\/em\u003eboasts nearly 100 \u003cem\u003ebottega \u003c\/em\u003eall with wildly different wares.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThese planters were modeled after a vintage version I found in an antique shop in Ostuni and are typical of the region's glazes and shapes.
