Crafted by 4th-generation weavers in a tiny village in Puglia, Italy, these nesting baskets are made with rush gathered from nearby marshes and woven by Anna Siciliano using centuries-old techinques. Anna, who learned this nearly-lost craft from her mother, handles the more delicate rush work, while her brother weaves the heavier willow, myrtle and olive branches. These beautiful baskets are works of sculpture, and while they can be used as bread baskets or to hold odds and ends, they also look beautiful lined up on a shelf to display the exquisite craftsmanship.

For in-stock items, please allow 2 days for processing of your order. For furniture and custom-made orders, please allow 2-4 weeks for processing. Once available, your item will ship via FedEx Ground or 2-day Express, depending on the customer’s choice at check-out. At check out, rates for both options will be displayed and customer may choose. Chosen shipping costs will be applied to customer total at checkout.
