Bourg-Joly Malicorne has been firing porcelain in the small village of Malicorne, France, since 1747. Today craftspeople continue to handcraft these beautiful vessels as they did 270 years ago. This openwork basket makes a stunning centerpiece with fruit or flowers (in a clear plastic insert), but it is equally beautiful displayed on a shelf where its sculptural quality can be fully appreciated.
