I have long adored the rich green and ochre glazes of this exquisite pottery, made in the small village of Tamegroute in the Draa Valley of Southern Morocco at the edge of the Sahara. The pottery takes its name from the village, and is made completely by hand using clay from nearby riverbeds. The same few families have been crafting Tamegroute pottery for centuries. The glazes, shapes and textures of each bowl and plate and planter are stunning in their subtle variety. This large urn planter looks so chic holding an olive or orange tree, a tree fern or any large plant. 

Due to the fragile nature of this piece, it will be shipped via courier. The estimated cost of shipping is between $100-$250 depending on location. We will contact you if the price of shipping is more or less than $150, which is automatically charged upon purchase.

Once available, your item will ship via FedEx Ground or 2-day Express, depending on the customer’s choice at check-out. At check out, rates for both options will be displayed and customer may choose.
