The form of these antique French chairs is so charming. Though each chair is shaped slightly differently, they still work as a pair. The elegantly-sloped back, the rolled arms and curved wooden feet give each a beautiful profile for use in a guest room, a master suite or in a library in front of the fireplace. These chairs are currently covered in a bright yellow velvet with a fringed skirt. I think the existing upholstery would look super chic (with a few stitches to the fringe) in a dark moody room, but they are priced to account for many clients' preference for new upholstery.
