Description

Dating from 1840, these Davenport salad or soup bowls in the Flying Bird pattern are a beautiful example of the stone china used on the English dining table in the 19th century. The Davenport Pottery, located in Staffordshire, was known for producing porcelain and stone china of such high quality that King George IV was known to have placed many orders with the manufacturer.
