Refund policy
If for any reason you would like to return an item, we are happy to offer a refund or store credit as long as the return is executed within 14 days of your receiving the order.
- To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it.
- Antiques, vintage or one-of-a-kind pieces may be returned within 14 days for store credit only.
- Seasonal and holiday items are final sale and non-refundable.

Sale items, blankets and bedding,custom products, special orders and gift cards are final sale and not eligible for return.
Return Process
To start a return, please contact us at hello@reedsmythe.com to let us know your order number and the item you will be returning and we will provide a Return Authorization. Please note returns are not accepted without prior authorization from Reed Smythe & Company. As a small business, we are not able to offer free shipping on returns.
Once we receive your return in the condition in which it was shipped, we will process your refund or store credit and you will receive a receipt.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and handle it in a timely manner. Damaged or defective items must be identified and brought to our attention within 7 days of receiving your order in order to be eligible for a full refund.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, such as custom products, special orders, seasonal/holiday items, bedding, or, items identified as final sale. Please contact us at hello@reedsmythe.com if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The quickest way to ensure you receive the item you want is to return the original item, and once the return is accepted, place a separate order for the new item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
