Welcome to Reed Smythe! If you’ve landed on this page, you are an interior designer interested in becoming a member of our trade program. We absolutely love working with our trade partners, both to find homes for our beautiful pieces in your clients’ houses, but also to help our friends in the design business create custom pieces that work in the spaces they are creating.
Once accepted to the program, you will receive 10% off on all furniture, lighting, antiques, and any single piece from our collection that is over $1000. (Sorry, but we do not offer trade discounts on small pieces that add up to $1000 or more). We are very hands-on with our designers, so once you’ve decided on the pieces you’d like to purchase, reach out to hello@reedsmythe.com, and we will prepare an invoice and send directly to your email.
Reed Smythe’s Trade Program is open exclusively to residential and commercial interior designers and architects. Applicants must upload a completed resale certificate and proof of industry membership by submitting at least one of the following documents from an email address associated with the business. We will automatically decline applications that do not provide one of the below. A resale certificate and an email address alone are not sufficient:
- Company Website
- Company Instagram Handle
- Proof of current ASID membership
- Interior design certification such as NCIDQ or CCIDC
Trade status will be confirmed once our team has reviewed your application. This process may take up to 3 business days.
