Description
This classic chair in John Salterini's "Mount Vernon" pattern dates to the 1920s and is one of the famous maker's originals with the hand wrought feet, back and details that distinguish it from the many later copies that were all the rage in the 50s. The true Salterini design has nothing to do with these later reproductions. The curves of the legs and back are elegant and undulant. The ivy leaves and stems seem to be growing. The organic quality of the workmanship makes it like no other.
We have two of these chairs in stock but are selling them singly. They have been hand-painted in powder coat paint to give them a slate-gray color.
