I found this brilliantly-colored and embroidered Suzani at an estate auction, and it is in excellent condition. Native to Central Asia, Suzanis are embroidered textiles that take their name from the Persian word for "needle" - suzan. No two suzanis are alike, and I particularly love the deep carmine ground of this particular textile and the pops of yellow and green woven into the beautiful pattern. I often use mine as a tablecloth for a small dinner, but most of the time it is draped at the end of the daybed in my office to add a shot of color to the room. A friend had hers mounted to a frame and uses it as a stunning wall hanging.

Once available, your item will ship via FedEx Ground or 2-day Express, depending on the customer’s choice at check-out. At check out, rates for both options will be displayed and customer may choose.
