Julia used these plates by our friend Christopher Spitzmiller in one of her favorite photoshoots - a fall supper at Hollywood Plantation, better known as the "Babydoll House," so called for having been the filming location of Elia Kazan's and Tennessee Williams' controversial 1956 film starring Carroll Baker. We both loved the rich brown marble glaze against the clean white field, a perfect piece for a hunt supper or a Thanksgiving feast. It reminded us of our Mississippi childhoods and looks fabulous on a table with nests and feathers and all manner of natural curiosities.

We keep some colors in stock, but most are made to order so allow 4-6 weeks production time.
