What better way to stave off the gloom of winter than by bringing spring blooms into the sitting room? The Victorian craze for forcing bulbs indoors - hyacinths, crocus, amaryllis, narcissus - spawned a cottage industry of handblown glass vase production in the mid to late 19th century. We've chosen some favorite shapes from our own collection of gem-toned bulb vases and had three of them copied by our talented Vermont glassblower. This dark cobalt version comes in a low rounded shape to complement its taller companions and looks fabulous in a trio or a foursome.

Absolutely love the bulb vases! The craftsmanship is excellent!
I now have two hand blown blue bulb vases. The vases are both functional and aesthetically pleasing. I also have the cobalt blue wine rinser from Reed & Smythe and a cobalt water pitcher from West Virginia. Love all these pieces together!
