Description
Inspired by the slim, patterned German Insel-Bücherei books of the interwar period, these charming hardback notebooks have a distinctly old-world appeal. Their format was later echoed by King Penguins in the United Kingdom and, eventually, Ladybird books.
Each notebook is filled with 80 pages of plain cream paper, properly sewn and bound into a slim, lightweight hardback that opens completely flat. The covers are finished in Cambridge Imprint’s distinctive patterned papers, with a simple rectangular cream label on the front.

Shipping + Returns
Shipping
- In-stock items: Please allow 2–4 days for order processing. Once packed, orders ship via UPS Ground or 2-Day Express based on the option selected at checkout. Rates are shown at checkout.
- Custom furniture: Please allow 6–8 weeks for production and white glove delivery. We will contact to coordinate delivery and to secure the best rate.
- As a small business, we are not able to offer free shipping at this time, but we work hard to secure the best possible carrier rates.
Returns
- Returns are accepted within 10 days of delivery for a full refund. Beyond 10 days, items are not returnable.
- Items must be unused and in original condition. A 10% restocking fee applies to returns made at the customer’s request.
- Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the item arrived damaged of the wrong item was received. In this case, case we provide a pre-paid return label.
- Exclusions: Seasonal and holiday items, sale items, custom or special orders, antiques, vintage, furniture, one-of-a-kind fine art, and gift cards are final sale.
