These papier-mâché Santas were painstakingly made by hand in Bavaria, Germany by the Ino Schaller family, using techniques they have employed since 1894. Unlike the many Santas available in shops around the world - many of them copied from the German originals - Schaller Santas are entirely handmade, hand-painted and hand glittered, making them a collectors item for those who value exquisite craftsmanship. A staple of the German Christmas crafts markets, these Santas are the perfect gift for children and grandchildren and can be collected over the years. Mass them on the dining table or the mantel to create an Old World Christmas. I've been collecting these year after year, and my children love them.

Shipping + Returns
Shipping
- In-stock items: Please allow 2–4 days for order processing. Once packed, orders ship via UPS Ground or 2-Day Express based on the option selected at checkout. Rates are shown at checkout.
- Custom furniture: Please allow 6–8 weeks for production and white glove delivery. We will contact to coordinate delivery and to secure the best rate.
- As a small business, we are not able to offer free shipping at this time, but we work hard to secure the best possible carrier rates.
Returns
- Returns are accepted within 10 days of delivery for a full refund. Beyond 10 days, items are not returnable.
- Items must be unused and in original condition. A 10% restocking fee applies to returns made at the customer’s request.
- Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the item arrived damaged of the wrong item was received. In this case, case we provide a pre-paid return label.
- Exclusions: Seasonal and holiday items, sale items, custom or special orders, antiques, vintage, furniture, one-of-a-kind fine art, and gift cards are final sale.
