This elegant tall vase was hand thrown, painted and glazed by Matthias Vriens of Atelier MVM. Measuring 30" tall, it makes the grandest of statements when placed on a substantial entry hall table, or even on the floor with towering branches. A beautiful crackle glaze covers the vessel, which is overpainted with a floral vine in blue. Photographed in Matthias' own home for World of Interiors by Dusan Vuksavovic, this is a very special piece and will not be produced again. The crackle glaze does not allow these vases to reliably hold water, so they are recommended for decorative use or for dried branches and vines.
