I've owned plates and soup bowls in the carnation pattern for years and love the combination of vibrant color and exotic design. These were made in the town of Faenza in the north of Italy, near Bologna. One of the many centers of Italian ceramics, Faenza literally means "earthenware," - from the same Latin root as the French faience. These are so pretty on a simple white linen tablecloth with colorful florals and green glassware, or on a sideboard using matching platters and side dishes.

Once available, your item will ship via FedEx Ground or 2-day Express, depending on the customer’s choice at check-out. At check out, rates for both options will be displayed and customer may choose.
